Really admire your choice of model subjects and the detail you incorporate in each. After seeing the originals can't help but sing praise on your models.
Thanks Dave However my subjects are not chosen for their details but for their location and importance to me. If I would have measured the firehouse prototypical dimensions and actually studied the tower detail first, I may have put it off for something else! ADHD rules! ;)

Creepy that

That What?? That…You didn’t get to see the prototypes of all my models while here visiting, each one has it’s own prototype with exception to the deck truss and tunnel portal? That… You have planted some of my seed on your property(unless you ate all the sage and the vine is dead) That … This guy was there?

Looks real good. BTW is this in Washington, PA or Washington, NJ?

Mechanicsburg, PA...............;)

Hey David, What’s that under your lower lip? Put it above your upper lip and you’d have a nice Hitler stash  Ralph

GREASE!! Figured the avatar was only fair so abuse it while it's there! Looking at the picture and wondering if H.J. ever worked in PA as a milkman in the late 60's? ;)

Back to the firehouse…I believe it is ready for the graphics shop and his magic. The bell in the tower was robbed from the sacrificial Aristo church AGAIN> That’s twice now on two different projects.

Very nice! Now, you just need the crew to go along with it -

Fantastic, but where are the 10 spot lights between the corbels. Oh, and no fire house is complete without a flag pole with gold eagle on top Sven

Whats that Brian a '53 Ward Lafrance?

I want to say it's a '38 something or other (LaFrance sounds right). Its made by YatMing. I did that scene for a customer to go with his Colorado Models firehouse.

Only remember 3 spot lamps Dave and a stupid half assed spot set up to the left added recently? Also remember red bulb in center of garage door as a kid used to illuminate…Was that red bulb standard practice or could this turn into a speak easy thread? I’m thinkin’ boobs

Look closely between the corbels

Red light always flash for warning. On the old call boxes on the street corners they had a red bulb to indicate fire while police call boxes had a blue bulb Spot to the left placed to iluminate flag after laws changed and you can fly the flag 24/7 as long as it’s lit at night.

Well Brian the scene looks good but needs a little more hose in the street

Sweet…gotta jump on it while it’s hot and before it’s gone! What do you mean I won’t be the sheriff for your jail?

Well,
I already have someone for Sheriff.
Now he has his first prisoner
