Is that rope lighting low voltage or house current? It looks great, much better (warmer) than you would get with LED.
Dimmer and individual floor control. But the lighting is great.
Bought the dimmer today. May have to wait for awhile on individual floor control though Jon the rope light is 120vac incandesant. Didn’t want leds this time. My experiance with rope lights is good when it comes to longevity…plus less$ initially. Bright sunshine today so a little switching was in order

the night pics are great.
That is really neat and I bet that looks even better in person. I love big buildings!
Me too Bruce. Well the dimmer is in. Brightest…50% ish…and like me …not so bright

dang, Larry, the dimmer is the key… definitely like that ““subdued”” lighting, either 2 or 3 looks great…
Oh, I like three, for the night lights effect.
Three definately…
Three, are you kiddin ? The workers will go blind
I think ONE is more realistic. A wall of windows would cast some light on the ground. Which isn’t happening in 2 or 3
Ralph
well, it is easy. he will know, that the lights are too bright, when the neighbour starts to sit at nights beside the fence to read his newspaper.
Ok then Workin’ on the details. First up is a roof top block house for access. Made from Azek and scribed to represent 8" x 16" cement blocks. First drew the lines then scribed the walls. A block screwed to the roof is used to key the house to the roof…easy on easy off…in case I ever decide to add a roof light at the door. Also moved the ladder to the silos from the shed top to the roof top…couldn’t really appreciate it on the other side

And front stairs for the main entrance. 3/4" Azek again (surprise, surprise) A little time with the mill and done. Next will be handrails, then raised planting beds left and right, then mods to the bldg where the glass doors will go.

Looking real good!!! What did you use to scribe the Azek with?
-Kevin.
Bought some clay modeling tools awhile ago Kevin…used one with a hook on the end. Making rock walls now for the front entrance and am using a soldering iron to do the same thing. Easier for rocks…don’t know if it would work as well for straight lines…
Working on the outside now. All the pavement areas are white, 6mm sintra that will be painted flat black. Any lining will be done next spring. Also the stairs are glued to more 6mm Sintra that acts as a foundation for them and for the planting beds next to the stairs. Next spring I’ll put some soil in them and add some Irish moss…or somethink like it to represent bushes…should look pretty cool.

No! That looks great, Larry.
Larry?? Pictures can never get Old… It’s a joy to watch your pictures, as you construct…
Ok then more tomorrow
I’m enjoying the details you’re adding Larry. It would be a shame to have to think of what they may look like if you didn’t add the pics. Besides, look at all the words you don’t need to type. Nice work.
