Hello all,
A little late to the party, but still kicking. have been working on non railroad things around the home front, like painting all three of my structures (still in progress) but am planning to make trainops. if there is sufficient interest I can open up for operations on Friday morning like I have done in the past. not much new here with the layout but railroad is still in great shape.

Unfortunately I need to work Friday morning, or I’d be in, Al. I put in for the full day off, but the boss is taking the following week off so he wants all hands on deck Friday AM for assignments/ Hopefully I can get on the road by Noon.
We would sure like to come, but Jean is still having a very difficult time getting around. Still planning on attending TrainOps at Bob’s and Stan’s, but I doubt she’ll be doing any operating this year.

NEVER dilute booze. Folks need to bring their own if they expect the good stuff.

Sounds to me like Ric is pounding out (what he thinks) is some 80lb rail with his bride of “many” years. Don’t beat the man up and allow him to proceed on his tour with his bride which he will survive to post us pictures !

Sorry Ric - I can only understand Roo’s posts after about 6 beers and my new plan limits me to two light (near) beers on special occasions. Fortunately I throw the plan out the window for vacations, which the trip to Bobs is one 
A week out, and we’re watching the weather closely. It looks like maybe some showers Friday morning (which is OK, because people dont start showing up until the afternoon), and maybe some scattered storms Saturday and maybe early Sunday. I guess that beats 105f like it was last year…
