Sorry Roos. I waited outside your house for 40 minutes,- everything was dark so I assumed you forgot.
Now we want pictures and want to know what the surprise is!

Ill reveal the surprise in the morning, once I get my pics off the camera and sort through them.
A great weekend was had by all, I believe. We moved lots of freight, fixed some track issues, and even found a bug or two in TrainOps! Thanks to everyone that came!
Boy, everybody must really be tired from the Ops over the weekend???
We do need picturesā¦
Saturday was a blast with 4 trains operating on the railroad. Thanks for Bob and Martha for organizing and hosting this.

Wow! Thanks Stan. I was beginning to think this whole event was one of those giant computer hoaxes, that didnāt really happen. Looks like the weather and all was great.
What a delightful weekend! It just doesnāt get any better than this. Saturday dawnedā¦or might have if the rain hadnāt been pouring down. But, by the time we were due over at Bobās it was already starting to clear. Bob has done a LOT of work since I last year and it really showed! Very impressive and a fun layout to operate on. Of course you canāt get right to operationsā¦thereās always some socialization. Hereās Jon, Ken, Gaetan, and Jean.

There was even an extra dog this year! Hereās Greta, Sophie and Piper.

These guys were getting started in Burke Yard: Doug, Jon and Al.

I brought my Shay and it lasted for a bit, but the wire to the trucks gave out way too soon. Jean is always the engineer, and thatās Jon and Al in the background by Pearce.

And THAT was quite a Saturday! Big thanks to Bob and Martha for hosting this great event. Sunday we headed over to visit Stan and Deb. This is a much larger layout and can easily support 15 trains at once. I thought I would have to twist Stanās arm to run one of the new C-19s he has, but he graciously let me have a go. We had a LONG run from Stiege to Riley. Hereās a shot going by a wreck.

Later we came down the hill. This is just before Bat House Yard.

It was another GREAT day, and much thanks to Deb and Stan for hosting this event. All in all, just a great weekend and well worth the 8 hours of driving!
Stan and Bruce,
Thanks for the pics.
I really would have liked to have been there as it looks like everybody had a blast!
Maybe next year.

And Iāll have to echo Bruceās sentiments, a great weekend with some beautiful weather.
Excellent!
Great pictures and it looks like everyone had a great time. Stanās railroad always looks good. Bobās railroad has really changed and there seems to be areas we have never seen pictures of before. I had no idea it was spread out over such acerage.
Ric Golding said:Having been there for the build party, and last fall's TrainOps2011, I was still having a hard time figuring out all the changes Bob was posting. Once there, everything falls into place and I can see where he completely tore out a section and re-built it differently, plus the entirely new section at Franklin Falls.

Last year operations were stops along a loop, with the terminus being the same as the start. This year with the addition of Franklin Falls, it is truly a point-to-point RR. There is still a short connector to make a loop which is blocked with an industry during ops. Lots of folks cheated though, moving the block and sneaking through the cut-over. Next year Bob will need to screw something in place to close it
Bruce nice pics and the names help tell the players!!!
Iām sorry I missed out but I got back from N.B. Canada to late.
Iāll have to go over Bobs next week to help him screw down something to keep you guyās honest.
Thanks for all the pics again.
Itās good to see some new faces @ this end of New England!

Ken Brunt said:I'm rethinking the plan for Franklin Falls, probably using all the benchwork for it, and moving the proposed 28th Street trackage somewhere else. Not sure *WHERE*, though.

I tallied up the car movements, and we moved 10,920 tons of cars on Saturdayā¦
I moved my rear end across the city to a Garden Railroad open house. Took me 1 hr 34 minutes to cross town. At one point I reached 25 km per hr (say 15 mph) for about 100 yards or so. Then another hour and a half of hwy driving to get to the little town and our meetā¦
As they say in Newfoundland: Shouldaā stood in bed. Glad your day was productive, thoā, Bob.
Well, Looks like everyone had fun, I only recognized Ken, dont know who the rest of you are. Great pictures and the Garden RR looks great.
All battery I assume.
