So today was the end of the work week for the CVRR crew as the boss decided to give them the rest of the week off for New Years. They also received another surprise when they returned to the shops after a hard day out on the rails. The boss contacted the local tavern across the street and had the local bar wench Shawnette bring over some nice dark winter ale for the boys.

She came over with some nice tall mugs and shouted FREE BEER BOYS…they all started popping up out of no where as that was music too their ears. (Except the driver who’s still talking smack and didn’t here what she said)

SHAWNETTE (foreground), Left to right …Bruce, Dave and the driver Andy… I left shortly after but I have heard Shawnette is a loose woman and beer was involved so one may wonder what is currently going on at the CVRR shops. I guess I will hear about it on Monday.
