Finally a reasonable day to run trains. Still warm & humid, but not as bad as it has been. My back has been bothering me so no switching today, but I felt good enough to get the camera out and crawl around taking low level shots :]
C.V.S.Ry. Shay No. 5 got the call to shove a Photo Freight out to the wye, then around the wye a few times for the photographers. Here the Caboose No.10 leads up the grade past Wall station…

Oooh…how true. When are you showing up? Can we get an Ops Session going? Maybe Ken can show up???
Awesome pictures everyone. Looks like another hot week for us in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic. Stay cool.
My youngest son, his fiance and her boy flew in on Thursday from Oregon to attend a friends wedding. So, of course when he saw the layout, we had to get the trains out and, of course, it had to be the biggest one.

Ken, That’s what makes all the hard work worth it.
All day on Friday while it was pouring rain, he kept asking to run the trains…it would slow down to a drizzle and he insisted it had stopped. …Till he went out the door…
HEH,you should skip kids entirely and go straight for the grandkids!
The summer monsoons have arrived here in Southwest Colorado. Great to finally get some meaningful precipitation.
With the wetter weather, it gives me a chance to post some photos of what the layout looks like when it rains.
Matt,
I love your track side structures
Good idea Matt but way too much work for me lol.
WOW… So, when it rains there, you get those kinds of mushrooms growing???
