I bet they have a Corvette print on them. I wish I had a pair.
Or a Choo Choo Train print.
If you frequent this website you’ve probably seen the flanger already (early Christmas present):
But most of the Christmas “loot” this year was for the O scale layout. A Lionel Santa Fe freight F3 AB lashup and some Santa Fe reefers for them to pull:
I got a great LGB set from the Buy/Sell Forum… It even arrived before Christmas…
3 O gauge Stock Cars from the Aristo Closeout site… ( O gauge for some future train ideas)
And a new Rubbermaid mailbox… Whoopie…

I got a windfall check a couple of weeks ago, from a summer project I did. The wife said I could spend it " Merry Christmas ". I waisted no time, before she could change her mind.
The Pallet arrived last Friday, Barely had time so far to get it Un packed.
7x12 mini Lathe with DRO and acc. pack.
Additional Acc. Pack
Plus 1/4 ton of all the good things needed to make it work.
I’m shooting to get it set up and tramed this weekend. The mill is one of those bucket list things I always wanted. My 91 yr. old clockmaker dad has had my lathe for years in his shop, so time for a new one for me.
Pretty good Christmas for me,
I’m goin over Dave’s house to play…
Stan, you have to put a bright blue led light in that engine for a headlight.
I got to spend Christmas with my kids for the first time in 11 years.
They got me a battery powered dremel so I can use it outside on the layout.
Terry
I got all the (small) tools I had circled in the Micromark catalog: micrometer, 4" square, sanding jig, small drills, etc. And a copy of “The Early Morning Milk Train”, Ronald Emett’s best railway cartoons, with the Far Twittering & Oyster Bay Railway prominently featured.
The question now is how long will it take for Dave to knock out a new live steamer with that mill station …we’re expecting it to be 1:1 BTW Dave…

Live Steam Butane Fired K-28. Now just waiting on the steam oil and I’ll fire her up.
Sweet!
Terry, can I borrow your battery powered dremel?
I got a cold. Shall I share?

i got the same set sometime in the early 80ies. and it still runs like on the first day.
but if you want to drive yourself crazy, try to paint an additional car just the matching color…
I think Ford had that color…they called it “Grabber Blue” When I was Fire Chief we painted the stripe on our ambulance fleet that color…dang near impossible to match… always replacing door skins cause people could not back into the bays without taking the mirrors off…
Looks like most came out on top this year with Christmas trains and stuff. All I got was a coal hopper with coal. At least its train stuff. Later RJD
I must have been good this year . I got a couple of AML hopper cars , one undecorated and one CSX and a CN autorack from USA Trains. Also got three sets of Kadee 903 couplers for these cars and my annual cheep RC helecopter that i’ll most likley have destroyed in a couple of weeks. At least they are a good source of minature screws for future projects.

Something like this maybe? My son’s 1972 Maverick Grabber in “Grabber Blue”.
Yep…that would be it…

I read all of the entries…clearly Santa has abandoned his naughty and nice list VS presents concept…
Over the course of Christmas Eve and Christmas day I got to see all three step kids, both nieces, grandson and grand nephew…
Dinner on the eve was delicious if I say so myself. The only thing better than one roasted duck is:
two roasted ducks.
For presents I got some figures for the layout, a wood and styrene angeled cutting tool and a hoodie.
Cale I feel your pain. My birthday is Jan 8th. It always sucked having a birthday right after/near Christmas. I alwaygot the dual presents line or the we spent all our money here is a picture of what we would have bought you excuse…
I turn fifty this year and I will buy my own present…a radial arm saw. Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me and happy birthday to me.
Heres wishing a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all from
Boomer and Mrs Boomer
Man, Those look good, Ive never had Duck before. Anyways I made out well this year as ive been cutting down on train purchases cause i’m at max capacity now unless something ketch’s my eye.
By the way I’m not a BC fan but those red/white/and blueers are cool so 3 for my RR will work.
And dont forget, RLD Hobbies is the best place to buy your Trains from…
