I know you guys are having fun with this “Roving Rooster Award”, but can anyone tell me what this “award” is for? 
i think it is not an “Award” in the normal sense.
as far, as my historical studies of this matter advanced, i come to the conclusion, that “award” in this case is a phonetic translation of an old german expression. “Ah, wart!”
correctly translated this would mean in english: “hey, wait!”
and that is, what it is all about. one waits, if somebody else sends the bird ones way.
the suspense of the whole affair lies in the question, who will by accidnt not use a camera, but a gardengrill …
I have an even simpler explanation - my wife named it!
