And all that just happens to be an extension of what’s in Pennsylvania that dribbled into Joisey…
Actually Ken it started in NJ and trickled into PA

And it’s still trickin…all the way to Pittsburg and beyond…
At the rate that it’s making it west, it seems that it might make it to New Mexico about the third week in Nov. Not a good time to be a fowl on the loose.
Anyone care for the recipe for Green Chile Chic… oops i mean turkey casserole?
I think that pic is great David - phantasmagorical!
I swear that I saw him in the new Carl’s Jr. commercial checking out the chicks with the big breasts. See for yourselves.

Rooster arrived a few days ago but the poor fella disappeared. After a few days of searching he was found. Apparently he has never been in the backwoods before and the Banjo music didn’t help.
The guys found Rooster hiding inside the mine. It took some coxing to get him out.

The guys got Rooster to come out by promising to let him drive the trains.

Look how happy he is driving the steam train.

Nothing beats the fresh air in Northwest NJ.

After a day a fun Rooster has realized that all these years riding powered boxcars was a waste of time and that live steam was the way to go. He even learned to appreciate Bluegrass music. Now we cant get him to leave.
Well there are worse things to be stuck with Shawn, but I do have a hard time figuring out what they may be.
I hope no one tells the rooster that one way of cooking a fowl is with steam. That could change his opinion.

Most often Doug; we quite often have a feast of BBQ chicken & pork butts done just perfect by Ric Golding on Saturday evening; but it most likely won’t be rooster meat!
It can certainly end up on the grill, BUT after the good food is cooked. Not wanting to soil the grill with fowl meat.
This getting to be my most favorite thread!!!
But isn’t it a slightly fowl thread?
doug,
just use it selectively.
pluck away, what disturbs you.
Shawn I don’t remember that roosters crest being so red. Did he get too close to the smoke stack and got himself STEAMED !
So where is Rooster headed next? Doug’s been begging for a Western visit!
He requested passage on the CVSRy, but was refused due to deferred maintenance issues. Rumor has it he’s headed West.
Maybe he’ll see the rounds up in the Pacific Northwest after visiting Doug. Lots of railroads up here.
