Ok Devon… Ha Ha ……
Cliff,
Looks like you too have room for cathedral windows!
In my photoshopped dreams Bill, yes indeed!
I picture the left-hand wall covered with French cleats.
The ceiling plywood has been… um… a challenge. But I was able to wrap that up today, and clean up and set up for the next step, filling+sanding+staining. I’ll start with this end:
Then move everything, and do the other end:
Yeah, it’s looking smaller already…
Cheers,
Cliff
Is that a duck less ac unit I see?
For the record that is not a shed ,that I have seen.
This is a shed…
Nice! A dormer on the left, much larger windows than mine… and the dude probably insulated it and finished in with drywall, which is fine…
[edit] Sean, is that your shed?
No my three are filled and not much room to work in.
I have a bench outside for gas engine/chainsaw work.
My workbench in my workshop has a 12” X 12” space… tough with daughter and two boys to have any space.
Sorry for the rant
Cliff,
Living in a country that imports a fair amount of wood and where gyprock covered steel frame home construction is the norm, I’m quite fascinated by the amount of wood going into this project. The wood floor walls and wood ceiling are looking great.
A room here, with this amount of wood generally ends up with a Corinthian leather chair with smoking jacket draped over the arm, a buzzer to summon Jeeves, and the head of a near extinct Tofoodabeast mounted over the the door.
Looking forward to see where this goes.
That’s a quotable, haha!! Especially with one wife and 1.8 daughters vegan here.
I love your imagery! Dude, you should be writing gothic railroad romance novels!
But truth be told, since one can’t get real plywood made in the US anymore it seems [edit: whatever happened to ACX or even BCX? Now it’s all DCRAPmaybeX, all being sold as “Premium Grade,” 20x the price of 10 years ago equivalent junk, and good luck not getting splinters when you handle it! – Sorry, ranting…], these sheets are “Sandeply” from Ecuador (via Home Depot). Not quite midway between us, but maybe you have it on your shelves?
Sounds a lot like my house!
I guess you shop at the wrong store, just did a quote for some for a customer. Just remember
‘The biggest disadvantage to using all of these glues is that they require formaldehyde, which can be irritating to the skin and deadly in enclosed places’.

Different types of glue used to make plywood sheets and other wood products - USply.
Thanks David for the heads up. I’ve been ventilating a lot to reduce dust, so that’s another reason to do so.
I’ll admit that in my plywood rant I may have… um… exaggerated just a teeny bit on one or two points…
What the hell are you filling, sanding and staining for ?
Get your stuff outta the house, pack the shed with it and get busy!
Oh, don’t forget to add an indoor urinal as they are convenient when the neighbors are outside!
1.8 you say?
Cliff, I’ve pondered this for a while.
Almond milking accident?
Yes, it’s been a long project… but just wait till I do the gilt-edge ceiling medallions, you’ll love it!!
I really like that urinal! Heck, I was just going to drill a hole in the wall and stuff one of these through:
Now, are you suggesting to use it when the neighbors are outside, because you can’t use the tree? Or do so because you want the neighbors to be puzzled by the leaking shed? Just curious; either way works for me.
Daughter #1: 90% vegan
Daughter #2: 70% vegan
Daughter #3: 20% vegan
= 1.8 vegan daughters.
Thanks for asking Bill, I’m pleased I made you ponder this mystery.
Cliff;
Saw a sign once that read: “Going vegan is a big missed steak.”
