As I am coming up on completing my first year of being involved with G-Scale trains and have not started into the art of kit building so I am going to sit this out this year. I am looking forward to some fine reading over the next two months from all of those participating.
OK I am in too! have an idea of what I want to build and this will keep me busy through the winter months.
What are the dimensions for the 1:22.5 scale car?
Boomer, that should be memorialized as a single thread entry in a ‘sticky’.
Boys I may not participate if I dont come up with a idea/plan… I am stumped on this whimsical stuff…
Sounds like a fun challenge this year, but I have to politely decline the offer. Too many objects on my none model railroading plate. Atlas, I haven’t yet run out of napkins, so in the future I may throw my name into the hat.

Some ideas that I discarded…
Portable house of ill repute for the remote log camps…enough said there. This is a family site.
.
I had thought of that. I also thought of a car to haul donuts from the donut orchard, since a fellow club member has a coffee bean mine and espresso well.
But instead of adding a new project to my list, I decided to do what I did last year. That is, to grab a project off of my “someday” list and build that.
I think it is quite possible I am going to die waiting for the official gun to go off. Other than stealing a Christmas decoration from my wife I have resisted the urge to create. Argggghhh
Devon, mee too. My hands are kind of itching to get busy, so I guess I will go try and finish other projects. But I do need to sit down with a napkin and sketch out a few thangs…
I’ve had the flu for a week and there’s nary a nappy here!
I’m reduced to a post it parade…

LET THE GAMES START… It’s in the mail. NO REALLY ther’re in the mail… Kits mailed today. Be looking for a well taped up manilya (yellowish) envelope in your mail box. Most of the tags said estimated delivery dates of Friday.
You can look, you can touch, you can read the detailed instructions, BUT you can’t start the actual build yet…

Travis, when I get down and I am completely flustered with frustration trying to figure something out, I always remember the sage wise words of Bluto Blutarsky at the end of this clip…

Pull up a chair and grab a mug of beer and a donut friends. Ol’Boomer is going to tell you the story of "How We All Became Napkin Builders…
Good grief, my stuff would have given him a massive mouth-foaming heart attack!
