Large Scale Central

Loop Rebuild

This weekend brought great weather (not too hot, not too cold) so I got the rest of the pier bases mortared together for the trestle.

In this shot on the left you can see the first course of concrete block which will be the backing for the other brick retaining wall at this end of the trestle.

My Sintra order from ePlastics should be here tomorrow, so Ill start building out the girders.

And from the Nashoba Valley Transportation Company’s Over-Engineering Department. The step over at Burke has been a problem, I had a couple of concrete blocks, but it was a big step. And with the new track heading for the new yard, I needed a different solution.

Here you can see the ROW and bridge placement for the track to the new yard.

You’re on a roll Bob.Looking great!

Dang, Bob… you got a lot done… looking good…

Looking good. I’m so envious of all the space i see on these layouts. Your loop your building is bigger then my entire back yard!

I like the step-over. No more tripping over roadbed

Actually he needs to make a ramp then.

Nice work Bob. Looks like the weather has been a little better up by you then down this way. I think we are on something like 7+ days where we had some sort of rain/drizzle. Ugh

Would have to be ADA approved.
