Ice house build

That makes sense. Just drive carefully - no sudden stops! It would be a real shame to mess up such a nice looking building.

thanks Bruce. and here is a picture of the truck. sorry I did not post it sooner but I had to go take one.

the back as in bed of the truck will be full. most of the stuff is my bosses stuff and then there will be my stuff and the back seat is for my two dogs.

well why I am waiting on the shingles to show up I did some staining on the Ice house. Here are the pictures. Now I just need to shingles to show up so Ican finish this build.

Geoff -
Thanks for sharing this great build. I bought a skinny 2-story building off eBay a couple of years ago, and could never make it look quite right. After seeing your work, I’m going to retro-fit it with a covered icing dock. Won’t be as cool as yours tho’ - thanks!

John Thank you.
I wish I could take more credit for this build but most 90%+ is a kit that I have just put togather. All be it lots to put to gather but still a kit.

Please do a build log on your building. We all would love to see what you do and how it truns out. I have yet to see a bad build from anyone and I think most everyone will agree, that there are no bad builds.

thanks again.
Geoff

Hahahahaha - I have a really bad build(ing) - I bought the plans for Charlie’s bait shop off eBay - no, its not bad, its pure ugly. The plans were fine - I just didn’t like getting my fingers that close to my crappy table saw blade. I’m getting better tho’.
I should take a pic of it before I shotgun it. Dynamite? Bottle rocket?

If you blow it up…we want video
Ralph

Before you blow it up, get the replacement.

I never thought I would use a 12-inch blade table saw for cutting stripwood but I never use my model saw anymore. And the saw was made just after World War II!

Doug I think he is talking about blowing up the building and not the table saw.

But I could be wrong. Eather way video it.

Doug - yeah, I meant the building - but the table saw is a great idea, too. Maybe I’ll just steal Rodney’s. Too bad he sleeps in his shop.

Geoff - I’m thinking burn it down. Video either way.

Got them today Thanks Geoff and Ken

Anytime!..

Anytime Rodney. Just passing the good will along.

Still no shingles so I’m on hold untill they show up.

Too hot towork on them anyway!

Doug it a nice 72 in the apartment. got to love the A/C.

Well I did not have the shingles to get the ice house done over the weekend so I had to do something. Here is what happends when you run out of shingles.

I had gotten a Colorado Modles barn and got it put togather this weekend.

If you keep building things, you are going to run out
of room in the apartment.

Nice barn

Rodney

Not worried about room in the apartment. I have a lot of space I need to fill on the railroad. her is photo that is about two years old now.

as you can see I have to fill a bit of space.
