I remember reading about it a while back. That a good photo of it.
Hace you ever told anyone you’;ll have to tear down the house to expand the railroad?
Doug Arnold said:No Doug because there is room down the side of the house so I can get to the back yard. I did tell the neighbor I could take down the fence and expand into there back yard. :)

You can always lay track in the house and run it through there.
Country singer Buck Owens lived in Bakersfield and was a big HO enthusiast. His HO track ran through his bathroom. And also past his bar so it could pick up drinks!
Wasn’t there some famous person that had a setup
with Lionel through his house that delivered food
and drinks. I either read or saw it on TV

I believe I had seen a show on the TELE about a restaurant that did that . Wanted to go but the distance from home made it impractical just for a dinner. Wish I could remember what the name of the place was.

I googled “celebrity model railroaders” and got this as one of the hits:
Note #4.
Hope this helps.

There is 3 Fritz’s restaurants here in the KC area that uses a train to deliver
food to the tables. I helped put in a suspended large scale layout in the newest
one a couple of years ago.

That’s a neat list

Fine work Geoff.
You have raised the bar as to what we expect from you
Ralph
Nice work, Geoff. Look forward to seeing it in person.
Nice job Geoff. I’ll look forward to seeing it in place
Thanks guys. I enjoyed the build and the log. I am pleased with how it turned out.
Ralph what is even worse is I have raised the bar as to what I expect out of myself now as well.
but keep in mind that I did have to get most of the wood already cut as the neighbor here desided she did not like the table saw.
So I guess we will have to wait and see what I can do when I have to cut my own wood to scale.

That really looks good. You’ll have to stock up on wood this summer when you are home and figure out what the next project will be.
Doug Arnold said:Next project is to get the Railroad in shape for the Open house the weekend before everyone heads to the convetion in KC. If anyone is going to that please feel free to stop by and see the railroad. your always welcome even if you cant make it on the open house weekend. June 18th and 19th I belive. then I am also having the July Meeting of the GGRRC at my house so I have lots to do once I get back home and not a lot of time to do it all. So once I am back home I dont think there is going to be to much building going on. Just alot of MOW work.
