I thought it still was a fantasy/fetish for him…
I ain’t tellin’ Andy
Moving on to the final details on the pilots
Pieces for the cut levers:
the above were then cut in half to make
and the lever
in place
glad hand from USAT were modified
and hoses made
Craig Townsend recommended some brass ‘O’ scale glad hands for the smaller hose lines back on page 3 or 4
and the two pilots ready for paint
The release bar will be added after paint. I have drilled a mounting hole in the top of my Aristo couplers, and cut the bars to the proper length so they do not interfere with coupler operations
Till next time.
With this being the first time I have posted since the new pic posting sequence came into effect, I want to say bravo to Bob on the change. It seems to me that pic posting from photobucket is about as hard as making a phone call using speed dial.
And Jon Radder did a nice step by step if you need the help. http://www.largescalecentral.com/forums/topic/20241/picture-posting-help-for-rick-ma
…winking…
Yeah, what the Big Bird said… cool…
Ooh, nice job bending that lever. Any special technique?
Looking really good Dave. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

Thanks Bruce, and no to any special methods. I only needed two so alot of measure bend went on and then measure, compare, and bend for the second one
And thanks to the rest of you on the comments
I see a MAI lines, but no sand or bell lines on the MU hoses. Nice job filing down the USAT glad hand for the Main Res. line. Here’s an inside view of a BL2 for your viewing pleasure!
Thanks for the pic Craig

For some reason the picture did not display for me. I can see it in the editor though. I wonder if it will show in this quote.
Looks great!
Haven’t had much time to work on this in the past month, life has been getting in the way. But I have gotten a couple things taken care of.
First I cut the lenses for the number boards.
And started work on the electronics.First up was build a shelf for the switches and plugs
I also made a rack for the electronics.
And finally got to run a few light circuit test to get the look I wanted
So until next time thanks for looking
