Getting another build off my bucket list... a BL2

And a bit more progress on the electronics. Light circuits were finalized and secured in place.

BL2 718

Wires were ran as needed.

And I sorted out the wiring for the plug.

BL2 723

I still need to organize the female half of the plug and figure out how to secure it.

Well done Hollywood;)

Worked on getting the windows in this week.

Also needed to add the windscreens

And a 3/4 shot

Also added the side horn, to finish up the details

Now I can touch up a bit of paint, add a couple details to the interior and connect the electronics when I get them back.

That turned out nice (for a powered boxcar…;))

Oh, there is glazing. I hesitated to ask earlier. But it sure looks good. You need to bring it down here to run. Ken has already requested a session here…

I know it’s been awhile, but life gets in the way sometimes. I finally got my control system and sound installed.

How the day started

And with everything closed up and the loco working. The controller you see is from Tony of RCS Australia, one of his new Tx7’s.and it’s his RC system that is installed in the loco.

Now I’ve never attempted to load a video, but here goes.

well that didn’t work.
