Victor - it seems to me that if you are home-grown red-box fondler who has never left the end of the street you live in, view the advent of voting for women with suspicion and believe that the earth might still be somewhat flat, well, you’ll fit in there real well.
But if, like me, you are
a. a furriner,
b. the owner of more than one gauge of models,
c. a traveller around the place - never mind how big it is, but you have to have actually spoken to a person whose native language is not English, in a country were YOU are the furriner,
d. basing your posted comments on many years of doing, rather than reading
and e. lucky enough, as I am, to have friends and acquaintances literally world-wide
then you are bound to have a hard time on even this new and open-minded forum.
A sense of humour is also something that seems to be regarded with a degree of suspicion, too, I’ve noted. Every one of my posts that were deleted were actually pretty funny.
