Ric, how big is the Timesaver? A club member is talking about building one for the club.
Doug
If I was to guess I would say it’s about 30" wide by 16’ long then it does a curve at the one end that’s about 6 to 8’ long …but only guessing from memory
OK - I’m quite confused by this video. It is the current version of the Timesaver, but not in the usual Alcove location. Was this produced at one of the fall shows?
EDIT _ I guess it would have helped if I read the opening credits; 2008 Southeast Show
Jon, you never been to Handel’s for homemade ice cream? Going South on Queen Street. It changes name at the interstate, about a mile.
Nope - never knew it existed. As Andy would say; “There are places to eat in York other than the diner?”
Without reading thru all the replies, is there a train station anywhere near this show?? I looked for York and couldn’t find a train station on Amtrak’s site.
Already under construction. What would you like on the brass nameplate?

Probably Harrisburg, PA. Not too far.
It seemed to me Baltimore was also a reasonable drive.
Maybe some of the locals can elaborate.

RalphI wan to say Lancaster has one as well? Im sure Ken will know. Ralph when you get to hotel give me a ring. I will be their later Thursday. Ill FB my number to you.
Lancaster has an Amtrak station and is probably the closest to York. That’s on the main line from Philadelphia to Harrisburg. Lancaster and York are about 15 miles apart on Rt 30.

Just click on the map to the right…http://www.amtrak.com/keystone-service-train
Many of us that come from the NE take the driving route through Reading, and go practically right past the Lancaster Amtrak Station. I’m betting someone can give you a lift in one direction or the other.
I used to go 84 West to Scranton, 81 South to Harrisburg then 83 South to York. When I got a GPS it suggested the via Redding route. Lots of two-lane but at least an hour faster. And yes, the route passes directly through Lancaster.
So if I take the train to Lancaster will you guys give me a ride to the show?
