The only reason why I go is to meet people, see friends, run some trains and food. I don’t really buy anything because Im really never getting a deal when you factor in gas, hotel and food. I could do better staying home and buying off the net. Its just good to get away after a long winter. The weather their is usually much better then up this way.

That’s my main reason for going. If I happen to see a deal on something I like, so much the better. Last year was the RailTruck, the year before the K. Besides that I haven’t missed an ECLS train show in March yet and don’t plan to start now…

I don’t know how many of you remember this:

Basically, I go to see new/old friends and help Ric out with the timesaver…

Altho, I do occassionally pick up an item or two…

Yep, no more than a few things…

That wasn’t even our van. That was another club member’s that Andy asked if they could possibly take one or two things back for him.

Ken,

Thanks for the picture of the Atlantic City Car. When did the show first come to York? I believe we made the first year of York and have been every time since.

I’m also going to see you guys.
Can’t afford the other yearly get together at Fred’s

I missed the last two years. Wasn’t too happy about that.

I never have any money to spend. But always end up buying something anyway…
I’m sure this year will be no different
Ralph

The first year it was in AC, then it moved to the Garden State Convention Center in Bound Brook, New Jersey for 2 years, Then it finally came down to York so around 2001.

It’s the end of next week! Yeaaaaa!

Hollywood: Is the parking lot clear for us?

I wish it was still in Bound Brook. I could have done it as day trips.

I think even when it was there it was too expensive.

I hope it warms up some more so we can go to Handels for ice cream. I found a napkin from there.

NAPKIN? DID SOMEONE SAY NAPKIN?

Is this the cue for next years Challenge. Napkins and handles instead of doors? lol

Ice Cream! Where??? Never been there.

P.S. It’s never too cold for Ice Cream.

Lou, did you get my email about delivering your engine to York? I still don’t know if this darned thing is working right. Dan

Sorry, I meant engine carrier.

Yup. Do you have all the measurements? I have your address, will mail you a check. Post office should be safer than your email, right?
Ummmmm

A check would be fine, Lou. Thanks http://rapdlp1006.wix.com/g-scale-carriers#!b-bio/cy2g

Check’s in the mail.

Do you have all the measurements you need?
