You guys are the reason for the down turn of this hobby.

just kidding. I wanted to be the doom and gloom guy for once.

see all attendees at the show.

Nico

But, we don’t have a cat.

The dog is hoping you don’t check…

Yea, I guess. What with them devilish eyes, he is probably thinking he can pull a fast one on me.

Speaking of the “Drag and Brag”, the Susquahanna Room is still reserved and should be ready. I have passed Jan’s info on to Bob.

He is doing this as a favor to us, please don’t stick him or us with the bill.

The “Drag and Brag” has been a tradition at the ECLSTS since it moved to York, Pa. at the beginning of this century. It has been in used conference rooms, hotel rooms, hotel suites, a hotel Board Room and yes, even in bars competing with a woman’s bowling convention and a tuba solo concert. Fred used to reserve a room and a bath tube full of beer, things have evolved.

.

Anyway, Jan has been reserving the room for a number of years and it has always been paid for by “passing the hat”. Though we are not there, the tradition continues. Please support this great part of the hobby.

I cannot find the "Go Fund Me " page for the “Susquehanna Room” on this site??

(note I corrected the spelling)

Possibly because the search feature sucks on LSC ?

Earlier I said I was going to pass on going to the show this year. Today I was looking over my vacation time requests and realized I never cancelled Friday the 30th and it’s too late to change now. If I can convince Marilyn to ride along (unlikely) or let me take our Kia (possible) then I might do the same day down and back again. I’m about 5 hours each way - done it before and it’s not too bad. Leave the drag N brag by 9PM gets me home about 2AM. Even if I could find a cheap room I can’t spend the cash this month.

Come on down, Jon! Yes! And bring Marilyn (however unlikely!)

She asked who would be there; gave her the list and she said it would be fun (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)We found a last minute deal at Tommy Beaudette’s place and Shadow can come too!

If you remember back maybe 7 or more years ago; Ric and Jan would always have their Lab with them in the alcove. He (or she, not sure) was older and very quiet. A far cry from our 18 month old rescue lab mix. Things are just starting to click with her, but she loves to jump on people and will bark at every leaf that moves in the wind. She probably will not be at the show or the D&B.

Wish I could be there… Just not able to travel and be away from Kay… 99% caregiver responsibilities…

Have a blast… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

We’ll miss you Stan. I sure do understand about the caregiver responsibilities - it IS tough. Make sure you take care of yourself.

Yea, I swear that my Maltese mix barks if a mouse farts 2 houses away.

That was Millie, named after the fact we got her off the Mill’s Farm, but we never told the people at EBT that she wasn’t named after #12, their Millie.

Also not named after Father Fred, but we let people think what they want. She was a great dog, but lots of health problems and we only had her for 9 years. Swore we’d wait awhile before getting another dog after her. We lasted 6 days. Its awhile, but not as long as I gues I thought it would be. And then Kassie came in to our lives. Kassie is a great dog, but not the personality of Millie and though she travels well, she really doesn’t tolerate people very well. Perfectly content with us at home.

Dogs, and even cats, are an important part of our lives. Enjoy them! And if you haven’t seen the movie “A Dog’s Life”, put it on your list of must sees.

Yea, when Midget passed the house was too quiet and empty. We had to get another dog. Biscuit will never replace Midget, but he is a good boy (most of the time) and I am happy that he is now part of the family. I cant imagine living in a petless house.

Really looking forward to seeing you folks this week!!

I’ll be there Thursday for the Official LSC Early Bird Social Event, woo hoo!

Nametags! Wear nametags! Nobody looks like their picture.

Do I have to pack my dry erase board again?

Wow!. A whole year has passed and it is ECLSTS time again. Well I look forward to seeing everyone just like before from the D & B to the alcove. Ahhh good times…

On a side note, and not to sound picky, but I would appreciate if you would all stop ignoring me like you have done in the past. It is like I am not even there and it is starting to hurt my feelings.
