Glad to hear some positive progress, tell him to hang in there!
I agree. Nice to know things are improving.

Tell Andy he just wanted a reason to delay his open house so he could get more done on the layout! Sounds like a real battle but the list misses him. Tell him to get back on the internet soon.

Ric,
How is Andy doing?
Andy is officially classifed as having “Legionaire’s Pnuemonia”. It is truely kicking his butt. It took over 10 days to stabilize him and find out what was ripping him up. He is in the best of care with Infectious Disease Doctors finding out what bacteria is attacking him and then creating a “culture” that will kill that bacteria. Monday began his 3rd week in ICU. He has a strong heart and fights off each fever. He is conscious and knows what is going on, but the big guy is in a real fight. Jane is at his side most of the time. Family and friends are taking care of the property, his railroad and their dog. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Hang in there big guy…
Thanks Ric for the update. Andy has been in our thought and prays daily since you first posting.

Ric,
Tell Andy we are thinking about him and miss him around here.

It’s great having the updates on a friend Ric. Thanks for keeping us posted.
Pass Andy our thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery
Andy hang in there you and Jane our in our prayers.
Don and Karen
Ric, let Andy and Jane know they are still in our thoughts and prayers. Tell the ornery little man to get well and that we are awaiting his return. Thanks for the update.

Was wondering yesterday about him, glad they have figured out something glad he’s hanging in there.
He sure will be missed next week, just not going to be the same… Although he’s usually MIA most of the time due to the wonderful arromas coming from the kitchen! lol
On Friday evening, November 6, AndyC was moved from the ICU Unit to a Rehabilitation Facility to get him off the vent and once again using those muscles that have not been used for the last 5 weeks. The pnuemonia is gone, temp and white count are normal and his recovery is progressing. The “sleeping bear” has a long way to go, but he’s already able to show his pleasant disposition.
Thank you all for your contiued prayers and support, it means a lot to everyone involved.
HALLELUJAH !!!
Thanks for the good news, Ric.
Ralph

Thanks Rick
Bernie and Christy
