I like those rooftop details!
Plastic shapes came in on Tuesday. Able to get a good bit more of the detail taken care of. I worked on three of the fronts
Turned the corner and finished off the side of the 5 and dime.
Worked as much of the back as I’ve had time for.
Placed window treatments in the upper floors.
Detail on the back of the drugstore.
And an sky view of two of the roofs.
An added set of the bits created here
I still need to make a stairway for the porches and I’m in the process of finishing the front door for the drugstore. I have some door knobs and a little touch-up painting to do, and I have yet to order the signage that I need. Should have it ready for signs by next week.
Hollywood… That’s looking fantastic…

Ray, I do believe you would have large structures on your RR if you didn’t have all those large rock formations in the way.

I just caught up with this thread and sat and read the whoe thing.
From concept to execution your work on this is exceptional.
The capture of the common but usually unseen small details are what
(in my opinion) bring the model/structure to life.
For example the cooling tower is just excellent.
Great job and thanks for sharing your work.

It’s been about 8 months in the making, but I now have the block done. Base will be added before it’s placed on the layout. Drugstore front.

Signage will come as I find the lettering I want, and design the signs I need. Then i’ll be able to place an order for the signs. The base will be plastic scribed and painted to look like concrete, I might even need to find street lamps for it. Thanks again for viewing and the comments.
