Another expansion thread?

That counts! Pretty soon I have to shift focus from the RR to getting the RV ready for Massa-ma-chew-sets. Marilyn is reconsidering coming. I think she’s anxious to get camping again.

Fashioned some crates from blocks of wood and printed some wood planks and produce labels.

Looks like an oil pipeline behind the warehouse!

Dont you hate that. You take a picture and later find out there is something in the background that does not belong. LOL Happens to me all the time. It shows you are actually working.

I wouldn’t have if you didn’t say something, then I noticed the “C”. I don’t think that was ever out of the box here. Did you modify the bed? Looks good!

Yea, I took the oil drums out and replaced them with a wooden floor. Made a logo with that waterproof vinyl. took about 15 minutes. Truck appears a bit small, but if I move it too the other side of the building maybe it won’t be a noticeable. Here’s back side (or front side depending on where you stand.)

Replaced the warped roof on the porch…used a piece of Lexan, which I should have used in the first place.

Looks good Ken, seems that roof wasn’t too bad

Looks darn good Ken…good luck with that lexan in direct sun.

The Mercantile and Depot both look great.
I guess you caught a break from the rain.
Ralph

Ken, the improvements/additions to the railroad look fantastic…

It’s looking great. I’m adding a porch to a general store I bought and I like the idea of using Lexan which I have some of – somewhere!

Bergs Woodworking is now open for business.

I built this building about 15 years ago for the old layout and never could figure out where to put it. Since I had to replace the Jap Maple I moved it back a few feet and made some room for this.

It should make switching in Hesperus a bit more interesting…

Are those black things the buildings set on stable mats?

That’s rolled roofing with a black grit on it. They had black and white at Lowe’s. I’m trying that out to keep all the splash off the buildings. And it looks like a paved road…

I always said one day there would be a building with my name on it  It’s not 100 stories tall like I envisioned as a child, but a mighty fine building none the less  Ralph

Nice work there Ken.Hesperus is looking good with all the industry.

The Jap maple seems too be looking ok!
Nice work!

Your layout is looking great. I love the color of all the buildings. They all blend in nicely.

Place looks really good Ken.

Ken; I don’t comment often, but I just have to say…you do nice work. Your pike is becoming one of the great looking pikes, that we all can learn from. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
