Close, Sean, very close!..
Thanks for the explanation Ken.
Wye Knot? Steve is that a sailor thing? Like a square knot, or a slip knot?

Old deck ape adage - “If you can’t tie a knot, tie a lot”.

Fooling around on Google Earth, I found this:
Taken last Sept.
Pretty impressive lettering, must be pretty big for Google to see it…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
Now, that’s funny!(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Oh, so that’s where it comes from? That way of thinking found its way into loading trucks too. It used to torque me off, when there was a huge tangle of rope holding down a tarp, when a simple knot would have worked just fine. And I usually had to undo those tangles in the rain, or driving snow.

Usta drive this old Scoutmaster nuts watching the Bo’s’ns tie four knots when only one was necessary. I bit my tongue though, unless safety was involved. I drove them crazy every time I threw a bowline behind my back. “How’d’ja do that, Doc?”
I’ve always had trouble with a bowline, any other knot I can tie in my sleep, but that one always took some thought.
Ken, any Boy Scout knows that the rabbit runs out of the hole, around the tree, and back down the hole…easy, peasy…

The part of the hole confuses me … does the rope go over or under to form the hole?

Yea, that’s the “thought” part…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
C’mon, Soldier, yer not paid to think.

Hate to change the subject, but the switch is in. Fit perfectly.
And an overview of the whole thing…
Looks great Ken!(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
So is this the end of the railway or are you going to continue this section further?

This section will continue another 8’ so it will be the same size as the Yard area in Delores. I need about 6 more of the support blocks and a couple more 4x4’s. And another left hand switch to complete the wye. Trying to do all this in between rain drops.
Ken, do ya wiggle when it’s raining, to avoid the raindrops??? (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Layouts looking good…
