As busy as that storefront is already, I think I would go with signs on the glass.

LMAO!
I just use MS word. There are a lot of fonts already in there, and may more can be found on the net for free.
It’s not the fonts that I am concerned about, I want to make the fancy graphics and such.
As far as the signs go, I am thinking about the hanging type. The weather has been too nice to be inside working on these, but I probably just need to take some time to play with it.
It looks a lot better with all of the front windows in place. I also have one of the brick ends done (but not yet painted) in this picture.

I’m trying not to buy new siding for this project, so the back ended up being a very varied assortment - in some cases having to piece them together. Anyway, it is starting to look interesting.

Now I just have to cut out the other window openings once the glue dries.
Those back walls look just fine.
I’m also thinking of hanging signs or signs attached to the building. I think it will be a lot easier to replace decals which it needs every few years.
Looking great Bruce. That backside is calling out for a one story addition and porches.

I’ve been known to do that too, on a few occasions. Those buildings look great!
Occaquan’s turning into quite the prosperous little town…
(When’s the first ops session?)
Looks great so far!

Good question. I’ve got a bunch of maintenance that I can’t seem to get to. Maybe towards the end of this month? A Tuesday or a Friday seems to be my only free days lately.

Maybe you should retire…oh, wait a minute…
Anytime works fer me.
Bruce,
Great looking buildings. I have a question. Do you find it easier to cut out the windows after applying the plastic siding then before? Also, I assume you use a a razor blade to do that.
Doc Watson
Ken - we’ll figure out something!
Doc, I just use the x-acto blade to cut the opening. I use the holes already cut in the PVC to guide the blade. It was a bit harder on the front side, because it wouldn’t lay flat, but the back does lay flat so I just run the blade over it a few times and I’ve got my opening.
Thanks Bruce. I’ll use that tip next time.

I thought about doing something different, but I’m pretty much stuck on a standard back of the building look. Oh well…
Well, maybe just a fire escape?
I thought about a fire escape, especially since I liked the one I did for Doug on my Rossean Hotel, but it just seems out of place on a two story building.
sure, just lettem burn.
They weren’t paying their rent anyway.
Them 3 Shops are screaming a Pterodactyal nest on the large gutters and downspouts your, you’re,you are going too model on the backside of them 4/12 roofs.
