2019 Mik's Build Challenge

Isn’t that like the tail wagging the dog? (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

If I had a clue, I would be dangerous.

Ok I will stsrt by declaring my build, I am building a facade of a warehouse, to fit against the wall on the west side of my layout!

What do you mean that was last year, I’m still doing it even though I built something EXTREMELY similar last year that was a huge disappointment am this years project will start out almost looking exactly like I left off last year

For real… I’ve been thinking that I would wait till you’all started posting your napkins, and see which way you were going with this, and then jump on the band wagon…

Just sayin?

It will be 2020 ya’ know and there are PLENTY of closet modelers out there waiting for the perfect opportunity to fly that red white and blue over silver or preferably stainless!

AMTRAK the train version of a female pleasure toy.

At least with Amtrak you can build models real fast. Cut a block of foam in the shape of a brick and paint it silver and put trucks under it. . .but in order to be prototypical you need to make a big pile of them beside the track.

Lmao

I have not been following closely, where are the specifications posted for this next build?

Dennis

Dennis, Dave Taylor will post the challenge specs on January 1, 2020.

Sadly I am not going to have enough time to do the Mik build this year. I may go ahead and start knowing that I’ll finish late, just to be part of the mix. I’m looking forward to all your builds!

Devon, I have been on Amtrak since Friday afternoon and it has been nothing but a pleasurable experience.

Dad and I took Amcrash to St Paul, Mn and back. I have to agree its rather pleasurable. And we didn’t have anything fancy just the regular coach. We brought our own food and drinks and nice roomy seats played cribbage and enjoyed he scenery.

Its endless Chris !

I await the challenge, but I’m currently up to my elbows in relaying pavers in my backyard but this is far far more important than the challenge as it’s where I am going to finally put down tracks this spring.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

With Kenai weather being 8-18 degrees for highs over the next week to ten days, my guess is all you’re doing is dreaming about outdoor railroading?

And congratulations to Vic!
