Yes. The Russians hacked Dave’s computer and the Challenge this year is to make a railroad clock tower out of old model train magazines. Extra points if you build it in the bathtub.

Well I took David’s advice and emptied a box on the table, er dining room table.
Looks awkward without tools.
Now do I give presents or use the money to buy a lamp or two?
When it was buying toys, I had a clue. Now that they stare at their phones 24/7 I just give them cash…

My boss still hasn’t let me know for certain if I am going to Epson school right in the middle of the challenge or not. I guess he likes keeping me in suspenders…In suspense…whatever.
I used to have a couple spots on the layout to use as improvised workbenches/places to pile stuff. Anymore, that’s hard on the scenery.
Got a converted utility niche downstairs with an improvised table which is the designated build location these days. Problem is. I haven’t actually seen the top of that table in months.
Have a stack of tires out in the garage topped with a irregularly shaped slab of counter-top material next to an old card table. Used that for the last couple of projects (one still ongoing) - but keeping even a corner of that space clear is tough.
First week of the new challenge is likely to be spent just making room to work on.

all I heard was Blah Blah Blah excuse excuse excuse. Find a flat spot, extend arm, sweep crap onto the floor, participate in the challenge…

I am not sure what would be worse, being kept in suspense at the reveal, or knowing for the last year what we are doing and not being able to say/start until you clue the rest of us in. I secretly think you start in July.
