What about everyone else's????

They can put on whatever flavor they want…I won’t mind…

Rooster will take pink icing

OK. Room reserved at the Loucks Road location. Who’s coming?

We’ve got our room and Andy said he got their’s reserved, both at the old Holidome. (They can call it whatever they want).

As far as I know Deb and I are going to be there, will probably cogitate on it for another month before making reservations

Man, we haven’t been to a York show in several years. Has it improved at all?

Jon.

How could it improve? Its the beginning of Spring for us.

The last time we were there vendors were leaving early and the turnout wasn’t nearly what we were expecting. And of course I can’t remember the year. Ric, I think we talked to you right before we left for the trip back home.

Jon.

Last Spring was my first show. The vendor hall was full with good deals to be had.
The display hall was full. Both halls were pretty crowded. I had a great time.
But for me it was about the people. I’m sure I’d of had a great time, wherever we were.

Greetings, Guys… I have an unusual request.

I would like to attend the York show this year and wonder if it would be possible to hook up with a ride and share expenses with anyone from the Saint Louis or Philadelphia area. I realize there would be some logistic problems but thought I’d throw out a request and see what happens.

If this might work, could you email me at [email protected]

Hey Ken ,
Swing by and pick up Stan would ya?

Holy cow some are coming a long ways off. I guess I can come down from central PA, if I can get these olt bones moving.
I’ll have to start saving up some money in case I find something I just have to have.
I’ll have to take Friday off so I can get up early enough to get there on time Saturday morning.
Sounds like a plan to me. That is if I don’t forget…

Stan,
It would be great to see you at York. But I’m a bit confused…“St. Louis or Philadelphia area” ???

Yeah, 'tis confusing, Ralph.... I have family in St Louis that I could fly in to visit and then ride/drive with one of the Gateway guys. I lived in the St Louis area for many years when I had my business there and know most of the Gateway large scale folks. Ric, Jan, Andy and Jane are going in Ric's van and it's full of train stuff. It really wouldn't be a pleasant 14 hour ride if I rode on top. :) :)

Hope you can make it, Stan. I’d sure like to meet you! We’re staying over Friday night and will probably do the show on Saturday.

Stan, why not take the train? I understand that they still run between those two cities.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Ducks and runs for cover…

Hey that’s the way I’d travel, if the train ran from here. It’s large scale indeed.
What better way to go to a train show than by train.
Great suggestion Steve.
