Yard art - wreck frozen in time

My trestle yard art looked a bit too forlorn so I added a broken Scientific Toy engine and some old cars for a train wreck in the making frozen in time.

As always, comments and/or suggestions welcome.

Best,

TJ Lee

That’s cool!!!

-Kevin.

I love it…

Bob, Kevin,

Thanks! I wired the cars to the trestle so the wind can’t blow the cars off the trestle.

All are plastic wheels and the passenger car and caboose are missing a rear truck and front truck respectively.

Best,

TJ

Thats an awesome idea.

talk about a ‘physical’ cliff…sry

cool idea, nice precursor to your upcoming front yard layout

Love it!

Yikes. Hope the engineer is ok. Later RJD

Neat idea…

What a great idea. You’re sure to get comments from the neighbors. It’s also a good test to see how tolerant of your toys the neighborhood kids are. If this stays intact for a long time then you can be confident your new railroad will be safe. On the other hand, if it gets smashed inside a month you might re-think the front yard layout.

Now, that’s a creative idea. Very nice.

Jon did something similar a few years back, only his wasn’t permanent…

Now see - there you go again. I was the Owner and Conductor of that train. Ken "“Krash” Brunt was at the controls. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.

Jon,

Great insight. You are very correct and it will be interesting to see.

Bruce,

Wow, I really like the rock as a track support. I think this could be very useful on my proposed front yard layout since it’s mostly rock to begin with.

I know nuthink…

You need to get a large ‘bridge/trestle out’ sign made Tim. lol

Then you can recreate this picture…

Its Roosters fault!

That is a neat idea.
How about adding the engineer and a fireman scampering towards the back of the train.

I can’t wait to get home to see Tim’s picture. Here I can see some, like Ken’s handiwork, but Tim’s I cannot see at this censored computer.
