Looks very nice, Ken. Where/when does it go outside???
I’m sure you’ll recognize this spot, Bruce.
It was a bit wet out earlier but cleared off enough to get this situated.
Now to get it into the Operations software.
Looks nice there, Ken… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Looks right at home, Ken. Great work! It will be fun to see it in person.
I like the addition Ken. More head scratching to switch out the train (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Looks right at home on the layout, Ken. Nice addition.
Ok, I have a question, how wide is your layout in the two spots where I’ve place arrows? and do you have any issue reaching the middle of the widest location? I ask because I am planning to build an elevated RR similar to yours and I’m using a max width of 6 feet for those areas where it can be reached from both sides and 3 for those only accessible from one side.

Dan, that’s exactly how wide those areas are 3’ and 6’. They are 2 separate areas. Delores Yard on the right and Mathesons and the Interchange on the left.
Here’s a pic from last years Ops that shows the entire area.
The people in the area gives it a little perspective about height and width. Ames fuel now sits to the left of where Hollywood is standing.
Looks good!
If I’m gonna have a coal hopper stop here, I guess I need some place to put the coal.
Dang!!! Going to make the guys shovel it out of the car into the bunker! You are a real taskmaster to your employees!!!
But it’s not like I have never moved hundreds of thousands of pounds of freight from the truck to pallets or rollers in my lifetime of trucking
Maybe one day they’ll all pitch in and buy a conveyor. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Pete, they don’t have to shovel it, they can choose to pick up piece by piece and throw it, its all up to them (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)Labor was cheap back in those days. Ken that’s a nice added little industry.
More stuff done.
Added RC to my Raibus:
It’s the RailPro system.

According to one report I read, it was a dollar a day job on the RGS and the turn over rate was high.
and the RailPro:
a bit more elaborate then what I needed, but what the heck…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

So pretty much comparable to trucking wages, if not alittle better since those guys went home each night

Dang, Pete, that bad huh. Well, move to Alabama and I will hire you and pay you … oh … let’s say $10/day. Now, how many people can say they have received a job offer with a 1000% pay raise (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Great video, Ken. Thanks for sharing.
