I guess this is next building. First picture is what I was handed and a photo of the real deal sort of…
Good start. Wildernss fire station, that sounds like something that could fit in the KMRR. I like it.
Well tried something different for the sheet rock on the station framing. See first picture…plastic from Home Depot 5 bucks each. Got the sheet rock up after the electrician showed up and pulled the exterior security lighting wires. Coreplast roll-up doors are on the drawing board. Gotta be in the mood to build those though.
Looking good.
(Wildland Fire Station)
Got the Roof on today.

can I guess?
No…Ordered my clapboard siding, t-111 paneling, and a couple of metal roof pieces, so I am on hold so what the heck. What about interior lighting? With 5 exteriors I don’t know. Clear windows or “security” glass like packing plant? Humm. So many decisions.
Well crap, now I have to figure out how to scratch build a BME Model 62…
Found international 4700 1/24 cab/front end kit. check yur email
Well it is Wednesday and moving forward with doors. Had a visit on the construction site.
Those International Cab kits are 46 bucks…which seems a bit pricey. I might just build off a GMC Topkick chassis. I am going to dig through my photos at work, since I am sure we had a topkick at some point. These could possibly serve as the hosts for the project.

(BTW, I suspected you were going to do Yogi doors)
Well today we finished the Coreplast Roll-up Doors. These Gen II models. Learned a lot building McCloud Engine House that had four of them.
And my friends from Power Townsend in Helena made a material delivery. Got metal roof sheeting, 12" Clapboard Siding and T-111 Siding. Oh yeah and 5 two pane sliding windows with glass.
Got the siding up today. Roof tomorrow.
So I wonder what is happening with the expansion/construction of the Lassen RR. Been quiet from up on the mountain. Waiting to see/hear about the PVC Lathe/Track laying project.
coming along Mike
Well did bench work this weekend. Windows, attic vents and prototyped my security light fixtures for exterior.
