Something changed. Today there are no smileys to be had when I post. And, um, my spell checker isnt working again.
We are back to the new editor. Me thinks Bob is experimenting. Speel Cheek doesn’t seem to work in this editor. Perhaps it is Flash based?

Some days I cant even spell my own name, but the state of PA helped me with that. Thay gave me a plastic card with my name, address and picture on it. ANd it also says CDL A, whatever that means.

Found a bug in the “insert/edit link”. The box says you can choose your own text to display for the link, but if you do it barfs. Looks like it tries to use the text, not the link.
This link is the same as the thread URL above, but with the first part removed in the ‘display’.

The “New Window” doesn’t work consistently either. Haven’t figured out when it does or not, but it only seems to work first time you insert a new link ?
I’ve used it a couple of times without problem. I use Firefox, or Foxfire, whatever.
I just got finished testing the video embeding in OPERA, FireFox and Chrome. the three browsers will display correctly in preview, but won’t work in the actual post. If one goes to either edit or quote of the post there is absolutely nothing showing where the embeding code should be. What’s ailing the beast? Steve - did that refer to my post? Wasn’t clear. I was using Firefox.

Interesting - I checked the html source and all three href’s look the same. I wonder what’s going on.

- Would it be possible to have a “Mark All as Read” button at the top of the Forums page along with the one at the bottom of each individual forum?

Whilst this is not a problem needing immediate attention I would like to report that the signature update does not seem to work for me. I chose a new quotation but the old one still shows.
Dear Bob, While this isn’t a flaw, it does annoy me.
If you use the Previous button you get the start of the page and not the Previous post. Clicking on the page number does that, so it seems to me Previous should oughter be a different function.

Alan - You might be changing it in the wrong place.
From any forum go to User Dashboard (ling at left at the top of forum list)
The first screen is your Forum Signature. Edit it here.
Not a problem or error, but a request. Would it be possible to move the line with “Mark All as Read” to just below the “Watch this Forum” link? Since all the new replies are listed at the start of the thread it would be a “quick click” operation. PS The loading and processing seems to be slower than usual, anyone else notice that?
Did I miss something ? There use to be a message alert when corresponding with other members. I was in the market for the locomotive/car cradle and now seem to have lost all my questions and answers to the member who was to make it for me.

It’s at the very top - higher than the LSC logo - in Updates; My Profile; Messages; Settings; Sign Out row. All PM is stored under messages until one deletes them.
