Wednesday night/Thursday morning group meeting

Well…who is staying up this morning ?

Are you kiddin’ I gotta get up for work at 5am, I’ll be out by 10:30 tonight.

I’ll probably turn in around midnight…Pacific. But if all goes as it has in recent days I’ll most likely be up by 4:30…:frowning:

Did you sleep in?

At midnight PST there wasn’t a soul around on LSC! So much for that!

But there was a good program on CBC, all about “voice” and its different stages and uses.

Well, it is Thursday morning and I’m up!

My lovely bride had other uses for me.

I was on here several times between 11:30pm and 1:00am Pacific, but according to the activity display, I was by myself.

Due to my dialup connection, I can’t participate in chat, so it is just reading the posts.

Happy RRing,

Jerry Bowers

Maybe tonight ?

We’ll see whose awake!

who’s awake, or who is awake is always the question !!!

the other question would be ; whose thongs are these…? We hope the answer to that would come from a good looking stacked blond of the female type…!!!

Were they on a train?

…probably; but I wasn’t !!!

Ah yes, the train that pased us by!

Only about 20 minutes and the big hand will join with the little hand, to celebrate the beginings of a new day…ahh, just what I need; a new and better model of the day just past.

My day went pretty well.I laid gravel in the train barn that needs LGB track. I worked on my LGB Mogul and learned the battery/RC is fine even if it still doesn’t work. That’s still better than if the RC had died! All in all, not a bad day.

Sounds progressive…you could use track other than LGB…it works well too…

I probably will. I have switches and enough LGB track to lay about 40 feet. I bought a box of Aristo tie strips that I use in the barn and out of our California desert sun. With all the trouble Los Angeles County Fairplex had had with their Aristo tie strips…

Ahhh, yes, I forgot about your location, and your hot sun. For me I’ve found that even under the Northern sky, we get a bit of UV damage, but so far it has only hit the LGB stuff, especially the switches. But…they are old, by most standards, left over from around the early 80’s, so they don’t owe me anything.
Some of the older LGB track is starting to suffer from narrowing gauge, due to uv, I suspect, while tie strip from Railcraft is greying but staying good.
