My experience with Aristo track has been passable. My main complaint is with the wide space between the guard rails and stock rails on their wide radius switches…I shim the ones on the diverging routes in most cases.

We all went beddie-by!
At Fairplex they have 5,000 feet of track. The first tie strips from Aristo lasted five years. They assured Fairplex they had “solved” the problem. The second set lasted three years!
I have five LGB switches I’ll lay to start with for the train barn… I have three more sidings to lay and will probably hand lay those next year. Two of the sidings are for mines and a mill and I want those in lighter rail and I think they’ll look better handlaid.

You might try a semi-annual squirt of Armour All or 303 to get added UV protection. That is what I am doing. We'll see how it works. So far, so good. No sign of damage after 3 years. Aristo Track

When I do my Spring inspection, leveling I’ll just add one more step to the process. I’ll do it on the LGB tie strips too,

I was here just a few minutes after HJ this morning. But true to the problem I seem to have at that early hour, the site quit working for me. I could get to the home page but not into the forums. Actually I got in on the first try and tried to respond and the site quit. Retried and as far as I could get was the home page…:frowning: This happens to me a lot at that hour.
