Large Scale Central

Warning *

Buyers on this forum living in the USA, should know, now is not the time to order anything from a seller not in USA.

Do you have detailed reasoning or experience to share? Or should we all just run screaming?

Without getting into the whole tariff discussion, what do you mean exactly?

Yes, the details are all posted in this thread, posts #18 & 19.

welcome to my world.
you will have to aquire two new abilities for our hobby: scavenging and hoarding everything.

as i, for the last 50 years, am used to transport, customs and taxes being equal or higher than the desired item itself is worth.

just get bigger junk-boxes, for hoarding.

Just a note that I have had no issues lately purchasing items from the UK, Germany and China. Why do I purchase items from oversees. Because often the product is simply not available from any US supplier or the identical product if purchased locally is substantially more expensive.

Alas in today’s quickly changing trade environment you must pay attention to the items specific Tariff code, how the item is being shipped and who pays the inport duties, if any, for the specific items you are purchasing.

If you do not pay attention you can indeed have the issues you are having. I would suggest you call EBAY and discuss the problem you are having directly with a live person. They may be able to offer you a solution or offer you a refund but it all depends on how the product was listed.
