I was idly thinking we could start a thread just for people to volunteer to share, perhaps with some of their time constraints. Can just use this one, I suppose. But if you are volunteering, you can do it any way you want!
Just a suggestion, but a new thread for the sign up may be best and ask that there be no commentary in that thread, leave all that here. I say this because I’m afraid sign ups will get lost here. Okay. I caught up and sat at 4 my time works for me. I can show something off or not. If people want to see the uncompleted compressed air loco ill show it but its not any further along than the pictures show. But I really don’t feel the need to drag or brag. I can show off my scar if people want to see it. Wish I still had my foil hat.

The Virtual DnB is coming up. Here’s some more info.
I will open the room around 6:50 for people to come in and get settled, audio and video set, etc.
There will be a waiting room. I will let people in as they show up. If you are attending by phone, message me the phone number you will be on. If I dont recognize a phone number or member name, I will not be letting them in.

Wasn’t sure if I was going to attend, but will attempt to use the school’s Chromebook Marilyn has home for classes. Otherwise the best I have with a camera and mic is a slow Amazon tablet. I can’t carry the Chromebook around if I decide to show something, so I may be stuck with the tablet. Such difficult decisions. Guess I’ll go try and install Zoom on the tablet and get it charged up.

Jon: If you have an android or iphone, you can use that (with the zoom app) to show off your model. Usually it is easier than a tablet or laptop since it has cameras both front and rear.

I have a Dell laptop that was the their last and most powerful Window 7 machine (XEON chip set). I specifically bought it for Windows 7. From the ads, the laptop did not include an onboard camera even though there is the spot for it.
I had always plugged in an outboard camera for Zoom calls. I was on a Zoom call the other day and the video appeared from a bit different angle. I put my hand up to the camera, but didn’t see it.
Then I noticed that a light next to the camera port on the laptop was on. I had never seen it before. Then I looked and noticed that I had not plugged in the outboard camera and we were in the middle of a Zoom call. So all this time, the laptop had a camera and I had no idea. Thanks Jim. I have an Android, but it belongs to work. It’s about the cheapest smart phone you can buy with limited memory. I have nearly noting added to it and it complains almost daily that it is short of memory even though I added a 32GB chip. I believe my Fire 10 has cameras both front and back, the front is kind of lo-res. It’s charging now, and so long as Zoom is on the Amazon App store I’ll be all set. if bnot I would need to jump through more hoops than I want to today to get a Google AppStore item loaded. I’ve done it on the Fire 7 I use as a music player at work, but it’s a pain! I’d also rather watch on a 10" screen rather than my dinky phone screen so I can see all yer stuff!
