Hello folks,
Some of you might remember the V&T transfer car kit I built last winter. This was one of three V&T cars researched and developed by David Frey, 3D-designed (and mold masters produced) by Al Pomeroy, with metal castings made by Don Niday, and produced by Iron Creek Shops.
David Frey and Iron Creek Shops are in the process of determining the interest in these kits, and the quantity in the upcoming production run. Pricing & production schedule will soon be forthcoming.

Here’s my version of the transfer car, which I built (with David’s assistance) over the past winter months. Still need to letter it with black or red decals (white decals came with the kit).
These are all “F scale” standard gauge, and run on (or can be posed upon) 70.6mm gauge track (not 45mm narrow gauge).
They are highly detailed “craftsman” kits, in that many, many parts are involved (as one can see in the photos), just like the prototype. I learned a lot about nomenclature & etc. by building one.
Excellent drawings (by Al) and thorough instructions (by David) are provided, making the kits assembleable by anyone who likes to make models.
