Hmmm I wonder how that consist would look on a trestle …
A couple early morning runs.
My first incident… I’m not yet sure how, but the brake gear on one car gut hung up on a switch’s throw bar cover.
Took about a half hour to fix.
Cliff;
Glad you could fix the brake gear so quickly. Switches can cause trouble at times. I split a faulty spring switch on the Dry Gulch RR once. Bumpiest ride I ever had! Took 4.5 hours to rerail our little locomotive.
Regards, David Meashey
After all this time I just want to congratulate you on the extremely fine work you’ve done on this project. Many kudos Cliff.
Thank you very much, Don. Much obliged!
Dave, that sounds scary!
I thought you had 6 loaded and 6 empties so you could run to the mine with the empties and return with the loads. [Then do a quick swap behind the backscene.]
Wonderful job Cliff.
Thanks, Pete!
Hmmm, that’s a great idea…
Great now he will never finish …
He needs to do a loads in/empties out scene.
Agreed!
Along with a few other things including a daytime job!!
A V&T Historical Society buddy posted my “maiden voyage” video to the Society’s forum… so our Secretary (who has a lot of clout!) says she wants to see the cars get filled, and then go dump. I’m pretty sure her tongue was firmly lodged in her cheek…
