I only got a couple pictures today, as Al and I double-headed a 14-car train uphill from Chama to Solitude.
I ventured to Bobs on Friday afternoon. He has reconfigured his trackage “smaller” to help with maintenance .
Bruce brought his critter …
John brought an engine as well …
And Bob brought out one of Kens engine …
Here we have John , Bruce and lastly Bob
It was in the 90’s and the shade and a fan helped … not to mention the cold adult beverages…
We had a good time catching up and just in general .Thanks Bob for the invite!
Thank you all for the great pictures! I will forward the tribute for Ken to Bev.
What a nice gesture. Looks like a great time. Very sorry we missed it, but it is what it is. Jan is recovering very well and is at therapy right now. She graduated to driving herself this last week, as her surgery will be 5 weeks ago, this coming Wednesday. All the railroads look great!
appreciate all the pictures, esp Ken’s whistle salute… Would have loved to been there…
I was just looking at some of my old pictures.
Here’s one from May 12, 2010, sort of the precursor to TrainOps…
Contrast that to this one taken this past Saturday, July 23, 2022.
Quite a few changes!!
