Has anyone warned “Land and Sea” to stock up, because “He’s” coming back to town? What’s your ETA, Andy?

Ric, we leave Tomorrow morning… Spent the night in Northern Ohio… Monday afternoon, hope to stop by the Finger Lakes, then head east a bit for a hotel… Arrive in Danvers, Mass Tuesday…

Look forward to seeing you! Found a new place to eat. So plan some time.

It was good, too…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Dispatcher for Sunday at TrainOps

In the past Bob and Jane have dispatched at TrainOps. (both did a great job) Dispatching is not easy because you get ribbing if trains are delayed.

Naturally both Jane and Bob are invited to do this again but I thought we would also open this up to any other who might want to give it a try.

Stan

Stan,

How about yard master positions? would like to work the one in the middle, Bat house I think it is named?

Al P.

P.S. Printing you water spouts right now.

I’d take an agent position again. That was fun. I’d even take the same one.

Bob

I will put you down as an Agent. May put you in a more challenging spot.

Al you really want to try Bat Yard? I will put you down for that position. Greg can help you out if you desire.

Stan

Stan,

I need a challenge.

Al P.

I’ll do what is needed. Enjoy it all. Harassment comes with any of the jobs.

.

“Bat Yard”! That’s a challenge.

.

As a participant, Jan just asked is there anything we need to bring? Snacks, drinks or whatever? Anything for any of the 3 days, just let us know. Case of water?

Just getting from point A to point B is a challenge on that layout…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Weather update: Looking much better than it looked a couple of days ago. Slight chance of a small amount of rain early Saturday, but the rest of the weekend looks to be mid-80’s and relatively nice.

Agreed the weather is getting better. most of the switching operations are indoors for those who have not been here before, and helper locomotives will be staged as well.

I need a better headcount as well for Friday morning at the RGSNH. I know some folks are coming, but would like to here from everyone coming. plan is to have everything setup so we can start around 9:00 am.

timetable9-pdf is available now for download / review. hardcopies will be available at the event, as well as your choice of small 3d printed gifts.

I worry when they forecast sun and nice weather … If they forecast rain, it seems like it usually just goes away…but days they forecast sunny and nice seem to turn into rain. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif)

I’d like to go and just hang out with Ken. Do I read the post correctly that Andy Clarke is going too? Wow, I’m going to miss another great event… Urrgggg.

Joe

Trust me you don’t want to hang out with either of those guys. Heed my warning and “Stay away from them” !

Joe, don’t listen to this dumb bird. Ken is harmless and Andy, well, Andy is Andy. Didn’t you get down to York one year? If I ever get out your way I have a brother in Clarence and a Nephew in your town. Sure would be worth the drive (6-7 hours?) if you can swing it.

It’s just a case of " do what I say, not as I do"

Yes, that’s where I got to meet some of the crew here. I went to York and I was told Bob our host here had just left.

I stayed in Boston back in my traveling days, and I did just go to the Big E so I know of the drive. I can’t do it without help so I won’t be going. I used to take an Amtrak train from Boston to Buffalo that was fun. Money is tight and that ultimately sets the rules. Family would come first and even that’s on the back burner.

Meantime if anyone can post a picture of Bob’s Scottie “Piper”, I would appreciate it. I hope she’s? still doing well?? I like Scotties! I like trains and this seems to be shaping up to be a major event again.

We lost Piper about six weeks ago, and Sophie in mid-April. We’re down to one dog now.

Aw, man, what a bummer. I ain’t much for small dogs, but Piper was a kick watching it with the pool…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Awww Crap!

I was afraid to ask. I apologize for any grief Bob. I only asked because of how much I like Scotties. Piper looked like a champ!
