THE SKY IS FALLING, again

Any day above freezing is ok with me!

As long as it’s far enough above that freezing rain isn’t going to fall :frowning: I hate freezing rain

oh well. Temps creeeping into the 40s soon enough though. ONE MONTH TILL SPRING!!!

Then again, I’m outside of Rochester, NY. Winter leaves when IT wants too…

Words of wisdom

Snew here less than 2 inches. Weatherbug says more Monday and Tuesday. As far as epic storms go, people have awfully short memories.

How true. I think people are addicted to French Toast and look for any excuse.

French Toast is always an excuse. Besides, it’s always wise to avoid the ‘unsafe at any speed’ SUV drivers laboring under the delusion that 4wd makes them immune to the laws of physics.

Um, so why the association with french toast?

Its better to be inside eating French Toast that outside, battling the storm.

When ever a big snow storm is predicted people have a tendency to stock up on milk, bread and eggs. Basic ingredients for French Toast.

I got a wopping 0". In watching the local news channel from Friday, we were suppost to get 4" to 6", yesterday it was changed to 1" to 3", and today is coating to 2". I’ll take that kind of snow any day

Sunday A.M. Roads here are great after Sat warm spell. worked all day Sat.

we may have recieved 4" here.

4 more trees to log out on the GRR.

I cut qnd split a lot of firewood in preparation for our cold spell. We’ve been in the 30s at night and 50s-60s during the day. I pnly burned less than half of the woodIU prepared! Maybe I’m getting an early start on next winter!

These are cheap Elm trees, we log them out in 4ft lengths then closer to winter we size and split and stock in the basement. If we split too early they get too soft and burn too fast.

We had a (blessedly) brief deluge of door-to-door salvation salesmen yesterday. If it had been in the forecast, we’d surely have gone out (ANYwhere else!)

And now you’re getting ready for round 2?

Did you try the apple pie spice in the french toast mix? Susan’s was delicious.

Weather Underground says “Light snow” for current conditions.

Weatherbug says “Chance of snow.”

IT’S SNOWING LIKE CRAZY

Steve, if you don’t want your reply in the “Quote” block, then move the curser to the bottom, (as far down as it will go), of the reply block when you reply…

I did, I did. It didn’t work.
