NO S#it! I remember last year these guys had all kind of snow and plowing pics but nothing but ice here! So the plow is only gonna be half of the CVRR MOW equipment.

Looks like that plow does the job. Do you have blade extenders on it that allow it to clear the snow that far below grade

Looks good Dave. I went around the ROW this morning clearing the last of the leaves, twigs and rocks so I can plow tomorrow if it sticks. Thinking of steam power, but I’m not sure the Shay is up to the task on the curving grade. It struggles with three cars. So batteries are a chargin.

Looks like it worked pretty well. Our snow as followed by lots of warm rain then a deep freeze. I’m going to check the track tomorrow, but I think I’m ice bound :frowning:

Plow looks good.
No snow here, but it did get down to 16 degrees the other night.
Freezing rain or snow forecast for Saturday.

Looks like a real worker there, but you know you really shouldn’t run a single track plow on a two track main. Now we’ll need to see little penguins.

Honestly Shawn, I love your plow, I remember when you built it, I think it's very fitting for your RR. BTW it appears that those redwood bents are wide enough for catwalks or a cat walk. I have some 1/16" x 1/2"w scrap if planks are needed. NOW GET BUSY! ;)
