Had the idea to try a pull-pull arrangement for my plow train using a pair of RS-3’s bracketing my battery/sound car with a plow on each end. Spent yesterday re-wiring Cheesy Sound Car to have Power and Sound connections at both ends. Today started out nice, I manually cleaned off enough track to get the train out for pictures. It’s still too deep to actually plow and more coming now through Monday night.
Just beyond West Escap`e I built a ‘snow shed’ of coroplast to keep water from dripping on and icing over the track…

At WALL, just beyond the passenger platform the snow drifts are nearly twice as high as the plow blade. This is the end of the line untill things warm up a bit…

If conditions improve a bit, or it ever warms up enough for me to dig out the RR enough so the plow can get through, I think this set up may work out nicely. If more horsepower is needed I can always add a GP9 and an SD45 to the consist.
