The “Possibility of a significant accumulation”. What the hell does that mean?..

It means you get More than me

Richard

If your feeling left out, I can always send some your way, I have more then enough to spare as it is…

I’ll take the snow over this bitter cold that has set in the Pacific Northwest for the next few days. Currently it’s 12 degree’s outside with 20 to 25 mph winds that brings it down to -11 outside. I’ve had my heater running in the shop for 3 hours now and it’s only up to about 40 degrees. Brrrrrrr!!!

Expecting up to 10 inches of snow between Sunday and Monday with a little warner temps.

IS IT SPRING YET!!!

Yesterday brought bright sun and just above freezing Temperatures. The CVSRy broke out the heavy equipment to dig out Deep Cut opening the entire line…

Didn’t get a chance to run trains in the sun Saturday as chores took precedence. Today is cloudy and looking for some light snow which might make for some good pictures.

Tennessee just got clobbered with a freak winter storm.

Tremont logger’s camp had to be abandoned.

The Fish Camp Company Store had to shut down and quit making sales.

Shawn, the Little River RR is beginning to look like your New Jersey Winter Wonderland.

Doc Tom

Tom - that looks like the perfect amount of snow. Very scale like! We got lucky up North.

The new store looks great with some snow. I agree with Jon very scale like snow. That’s the kind of snow I like not the snow canyons I have

Nice pix!

The only snow that I like is “Nosnow”…

Doc,

You could almost pass those pics off as the real deal!!

Thanks guys.

Doc Tom

Nice pictures. Glad to say…no snow in my area in UK. Plenty of rain tho’.

Still, - Spring has sprung… Woke up this morning to hear swans honking their way NE back home to Siberia from their Winter quarters about 60 miles SE from here.
Must have had the all weather goggles on…it was raining…again.

Despite the mild temperatures today, hardly any of the snow melted. My little guy wanted to run the Mogul today. We went with some Battery power today. Strange looking at the layout from over a foot higher then normal.

That’s some serious snow there Shawn. We lost quite a bit. See my pics in the Thaw thread.

80% of my layout is still buried. I can see maybe 20’ of exposed track.

Ken i’m sorry. now stop sending it my way looking to get anther 6 plus wed. into thursday.

Misery loves company…

As of 6PM tonight it looks like the rain/snow line will be well North of you Richard.

Jon i like your forecast lets hope so but the one i just watched said when all is done 6 to 10 in. now.

Richard

I’m really sorry to hear all this snow talk. It’s 46 degree’s outside right now and SUNNY! I love it. Still can’t get to the layout for all the mushy mud, but the sun should dry it out pretty fast, I hope.

Chuck

Yup, its 45 F and sunny, right now. But I remember a year when it snowed 8 inches on the 8th of May, and then another 6 inches on the 15th of June. SWMBO’s lovingly cared for all winter long in the basement geraniums were set out on June 14, that year. They did not survive. She was not amused.

Next, maybe last round, coming through today. We were in the 70’s, yesterday. Back in to the 50’s and 60’s in the next couple of days.
