The Mik Challenge starts in less than 60 days…!!! Time to start hoarding all the stuff that you think that you could use… while it’s still FREE…
And just as a tease… someone on here guessed this years Challenge topic within the last 2 years…

Wow! Who’d have thought a Southern Hemisphere themed MIK!?
That certainly narrows things down Dave, thank you!!

Good thing we live near the equator! We’re good to go, north or south!
As for theme, there was a call for Narrow Guage AMTRAK…
Clan Mueller stands at the ready, with the annual Purge of the Lanai, Sorting of the Gemuckabuckets, and Ordering of the Bits only two weeks away.
Eric
Hä?
how near?
are we neighbours?
i live at 21° south.
We’re about 24 North. So, yes, we’re practically neighbors!
I’m learning from my impatience last year where I built two very Mik projects between Thanksgiving, Christmas and New year’s so I’m putting on the brakes on any Mik-able projects until this year’s challenge. I’m itching to try out my scratchbuilding skills again
What? Less than 60 days now and counting down? How did that happen? I’m still marveling at last years build, the Schnabel and didn’t run it near enough since.
Hmmm, the Hint, someone guessed the theme in the past 2 years… I’m going to guess that it is either a building or something to run on the track…? am I close
I’m hoping it’s something to run on the track, I’ve got two ideas to chose from and boy are they doozies!
Dammmm Todd… you nailed it and were still 43 days out…
Well I do have a habit of thinking out of the box Dave.
Well that really narrows it down a bunch.
Must resist attempt to join MIK and complete backlog of projects…
Craig… Don’t resist yet… I think that you will be ALL IN for this one…
I’ve heard that line before…
I have plenty of buildings to make still, and I have plenty of someday I’d like to build this thing that rolls along the rails.
The projects aren’t the problem…
That almost sounds like a “finish what you started” theme…
That is funny Rooster.
When designing scratch built cars I have actually screwed trucks onto lengths of wood like that and sent them through my Pinch Point tunnel to make sure they will make it.
I was thinking it could be fun to grab a Free pallet, they seem to be everywhere these days and people have made all kinds of things from them such as coffee tables. I think it would be interesting take a coffee table and turn it into a pallet…
We could all start with a free pallet and see where it goes?
Your heavy hauler is AWESOME! and I do believe it.
