Correct, but if you are modeling 20th or 21st century PA, they are quite acceptable!
Same here in the southern tier of NY.
Not all of PA only Pennsyltucky and according to Mark it spans into New Appalacia.
I know I live smack dab in the middle of that now, but I have no idea where it starts or ends. I assume Pitt and Philly are not included, maybe Scranton too?
Pennsyltucky is anywhere there are mountains the rest is just flatland.
“Pennsyltucky is anywhere there are mountains the rest is just flatland.”
So I suppose the Hershey/Palmyra area where I grew up is considered Pennsyltucky. The mountains are within view and within about a mile or two from both towns.
Good to know, David Meashey
Thanks for the definition. Now I know I’m not in Pennsyltucky, I wasn’t sure.
Nope,
Dave is in the Lebanon Valley. I’m in the Cumberland Valley which borders Pennsyltucky and you Wayne are in the Piedmont. Oh, and Shawn Viggano is in the Kittatinny Valley which borders Pennsyltucky.
However Jon now lives in Pennsyltucky. Hope that makes sense and if not I can certainly introduce you to some Pennsyltuckians.
EDIT: Sorry Mark for jacking up this awesome thread! Oh, and on a historical side note with the firehouse if anyone challenges you on the “white” trim/accent color tell them it is not “white” it is “ivory” cause any fool knows that “white” was not an acceptable color back in the day.
