Nice looking color Bob
The timbers on the stair platform look much better now that they are no longer clear. Looking good Bob.
Looking good!
Thanks. Only the base coat. Lots of details, and trim color to put on! And the interior, and roof!
Is it done yet?
I was looking through a PRR book today and happened to notice the the Enola Yards once had a tower as such on the southern end of the yard. I tried searching for a picture of it and I’m sure there is more but all I could currently find without becoming distracted was on page 10 of this PDF (that’s page 10 on the Adobe PDF) http://www.tehistory.org/hqda/pdf/v42/Volume42_N2_035.pdf
Finally got the roof to look right. Here it is placed temporarily on top.

Looking right well
Looks neat, Bob…
That turned out pretty nifty.
Nice tower…but I’ve seen better pictures

What rooster said
While waiting for a styrene order to show up so I can finish the windows, I started on the bent rail supports. Here’s one weathered and in position. There eventually will be 2 like this, and 2 sticking out from the box. The rails are what supported the box in the prototype, the box covers the rods and chains.

And the roof.

I really like that roof. Is that covered with that copper flashing?
From the view out the window, I suspect it might be awhile before it makes it outside.
