Great job Rooster. That is going to be one fantastic sight running. Can’t wait for the videos. Maybe you can get some run time at one of the show layouts.

Awesome job Rooster,
Your cars are welcome here any time.
And just as a modeling thought, I buy cars for cash…
Yours are a must have, do they light up ???
Nicky
Sorry Nick. I believe Rooster is the only thing that is lit up.

My Genesis comment was was more a comment on the manufacturer than the engine itself. Every other car and the FP loco were built in the Rooster Works. Only the Genesis wasn’t. But it probably got a detail treatment there

Good luck, Son…
My dad had no faith in me (as usual) when I got the hair up my hind end that I was gonna make this consist a year and and half ago but I’m pretty pleased with the end result even if they aren’t finescale models! I have been with LSC for quite some time and the folks here have inspired, educated, goaded, pushed and sometimes sent me to bed crying however only to make me a better more knowledgeable modeler, and for that I say THANKS GUYS! Nick, They do not light up(interior) as I really don’t run at night much and personally I think lighted modern passenger cars with tinted windows is a waste of time and not prototypical at all(but they could be lit up). They do carry 9v’s on board with a spdt center off switch for the marker lamps on the ends(depending on which end is last in line). It would be cool to light the tubes by the doors and this has crossed my mind numerous times, perhaps in the future I may decide to ghetto them up… I have 2 more cars to make yet plus a 1700 series baggage/mail car and then I’m done as I will have a full consist. BTW…Don’t think you have enough cash to make me wanna part with them

David, Cars came out great. You can pat yourself on the back for doing a awesome job. As far as $ I guess i will have to wait for USATs to make them, but till then… I will drool over yours Sir…

Pat yourself on your back again, job well done. Nick

... I have 2 more cars to make
But finding space for a train that size to run is hard enough to do in HO scale. I can’t imagine trying to do it in G.
Now you’ll have him making 3 more instead of 2 Matt…I like your way of egging him on
I know he really buys them from LGB…
Dad’s right I’m buying them Superliners so I think I have a change in plans,I’m gonna make these next
But I’m doing them my way…

Great work, David! That’s a nice looking train.
Rooster,
In spite of all the mistakes (too large, wrong color, wrong era, no steam lokies) those cars came out great! That makes a gorgeous train! Congratulations!
They are seriously good David!
Alec
The kid really did good… great looking train…
