I was not happy with my last set of pictures. Camera flash keeps going on even when it is light out. When I turn flash off pictures are blurred. I stole my wifes nice camera and played with that some. SHHHHH dont tell her. Sorry for so many pictures can never decide what to post. The Big John was the choice of power for the day with some log cars being pulled. (Ken this is what log cars look like with logs :slight_smile: )

This past Sunday our club had its monthly meeting/run in Blairstown NJ. The day was sunny and very hot. Not typical for northwest NJ. Everyone had a great time running trains. The layout was very nice to run on. The day started out by running an accucraft live steam 4-4-0 pulling some bachmann coaches.

While the steamer was running on the outer loop I had my Climax and log cars running on the inside loop.

The guys on the Kittatinny Mt RR got their passenger cars in service today. Now the loggers have a way to get their friends and family into the woods for the weekends and open up to the tourist that visit the state forest. Two of the cars were donted and the other was bought. The cars were repainted to blend in with the forest. The camera man just made it in time before some heavy rain came through.

I haven't run a train in over a month :o Working 11 hour days. This week it's been Jury Duty until noon, then work until almost dark. And the boss insists he's doing me a favor :D The few hours here and there when it hasn't been hot as h*ll, I've been keeping the weeds at bay. Ralph
