Looks good. I rememebr my first run. Great feeling. I have those cars and the engine in N scale. Nice set.

YEAH BABY!!!
I didn’t get that call so your linked!
SWEET !!!
You didn’t tell me you had a Doodlebug you sneaky devil!
I’ve got a joker grin right now…

Dave,

I have a real interest in Doodlebugs, rail busses, rail buggys and small stuff that goes down the rail. Excellanta

Thanks guys, I like em too Ric This is also the largest piece of equipment I own, and thought it would be a good test piece. First time out of the box and I noticed the restroom wall is bouncing around

Re thinking and realizing the LME made the “Summer Fun” thread!
YOU told the truth!!
Awesome Dave
You have the knowledge but just needed a boot in the butt.
“Goaded One”

DaveM… Nice run… Glad you got it working…

Congrats on the inaugural run. I’m told that once you get some track down and water it, more will grow

Dave,

If you want to get inside of the AC Doodlebug, I found it became a lot easier once I modified a Phillips screwdriver to be small in diameter and yet long in shank by cutting away half of the handle carefully on my bandsaw. I also made a modification to the roof to allow the mechanical area to stay on while the rest came off to allow battery placement and r/c control. Great 1/29th piece, but big to haul around.

Thanks for the tip Ric.

Around here, it’s still summer. Leaves are still green, and the pool is open. Beautiful day to run trains. Ralph The Pacolet Valley RR MOW train heads into Deep Gap after doing a little contract work for the Sunny View Line.

Wonderful pictures, Ralph…

Great pictures again Ralph. Im off today to do some operations with some local guys that have Garden RR. The weather here has been perfect. Temp in low 70’s during the day and 50’s at night. Leaves are starting to show color. Fall is almost here, 7 more days.

Ran trains for my brothers first visit here yesterday. I was too busy being the engineer, he took lots of pictures but I didn’t get any :frowning:

Great pics Ralph, I enjoyed looking at them. We are having an Indian Summer over here also.

I had my second operations today and what a blast. I got a few pictures but not a lot because I was toobusy playing  The first few shots are my Dunkirk and flats on the layout. All the shots are me just playing around in the begining. The first four were from our operations about a month ago

I also got my Aristo Rogers in the mail today. I bought this one off Vic. So far I love it. It also looks like the older version without the tender. I like much better. I had to take it for a test run on my layout. Eventually I will repaint it etc… for now looks good.

A few of the guys are into diesel and that all they had for operations. I would have used my dunkirk but they use different couplers. I will eventualy have to make up a trailing car to work with all. The diesel are nice but still not for me. I like my steam and tight uneven track. LOL
